Can't argue with care homes being a priority but the roll out across the country isn't good. Like I've said it makes a good sound bite but in reality it's only around 30,000 residents. Obviously there's a few on the isles that aren't so easy to reach but with only the 5% remaining she really should be getting more into elderly at large.
I think if this time next week we are saying the same thing I'd agree. I expect now they have reached the 95% vaccinations in the community should be speeding up, I'd be dissapointed if we aren't doing 30,000 plus a day by the middle of this week and towards 40,000 a day nexy week.

This slightly surprises me.
Split of vaccines from up to 17th Jan Az 6.6% Pfizer 93.4 % Taken from the chart here.
I do like that data. I look at his stuff most days and it gives a great deal of insight. What do you make of the current argument between Scot Govmt (vaccine is tracking to plan) and opposition (you aren't going quick enough)?

Tell her to get a fucking move on. I'm hoping to come up in April.

England hospital deaths

Up this week on last sadly

609 v 532.

Always low data on Monday as it is from the weekend.

54 from NW. Equally so about weekend under reporting here especially.

Increases are not drastic but that is a similar % rise - indeed slightly up - on last Monday (where that 532 was up from 489)

Rather surprised that my 46 year old sister who works in sexual health/education in Scotland, but has worked from home constantly since March is being vaccinated on Weds.
I think all NHS staff are priority. I know someone who works in a lab at Manchester Royal and the staff there were all been offered the vaccine early doors and none of them work on the front as such. They were actually one of the first people to receive their vaccination before the over 80‘s got theirs.

Pretty much as I’ve just been posting, at the moment I’m happy to accept that the push to get care homes done at the expense of the community as the reason Scotland has slipped back.Though I do expect a rapid roll out mow thats done.
If we get the rapid roll out and Scotland stays at about 1 or 2 % behind but have a quicker fall in care home deaths thats fine.
I would be questioning if Scotland wee to fall much more than a couple of percent behind.

I don’t suppose they can trawl through each persons job description. It’s probably just front line NHS and then the rest.
