They would keep lockdown until 2028 if they could

Stupid to say they are useless , they are trying to keep people a!ive , even the ungrateful ones

Probably had little effect on this figure, which is cases by reported date, not by specimen date. I'm not sure, but I think it doesn't include any results from yesterday.

Good point, it does confuse having the 2 numbers.

No chance that's going to happen. By late summer pretty much everyone in this country (who wants to be) will be vaccinated.

We were not vaccinating 500k a day then and that was the start of the second wave

We've never done 500k a day yet, the highest was close, yesterday was only 220k.

I honestly cant remember a lockdown ,i was in tier two still, i think , might be my memory playing up

I think they wanted to hammer the NHS message, with numbers in hospital, and numbers on ventilators (which had better decisions been made earlier that they were, wouldn't be so high).
