Coronavirus (2021) thread

We've been managed just shy of 500,000 second doses. Which I believe ground to trickle a fortnight ago.
And Prof Whitty gave his reasons for that that he descibed the reasons as "Not very difficult maths" i.e: Loads more deaths than the alternative, the alternative being a 12 week gap between vaccinations.
I know medics complain about the approved process being sidestepped (my daughter does) but not doing the alternative would be a disaster.

That’s all I’m doing mate, other than having to walk 6ft to the loo but I put this off as long as I can as I can’t stop coughing when in get in there. I’m annoying thr nurses asking for top ups on the water.
City game is repeated this afternoon so I’ll rewatch that but it’s constant bed for me for the last 3 days
Not read all this thread last few days but I just want to say I wish you all the best, I know what a rough time you've had recently, in the right place now and fingers crossed for a full recovery.

Naturally ill be called a doom monger when I share a perfectly legitimate article that isn't 100% positive at some point though!
A small fall. Good news a think though it shows vaccines will have to be rejigged going forward - but we knew that anyway.

I was making a positive observation. In other words we've got a very good sample of double doses now. Most of which would be at least a fortnight post second jab.

Just in case it’s not been mentioned
This has bypassed me completely, never even heard of this one? Also, have we not ordered some of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which I believe is nearly approved?
