Probably be labelled a doom monger for sharing this. But it's relevant to Germany's deicison today and why they've made it. Before anyone starts, this isn't me agreeing or disagreeing with it...it's just relevant to their decision and a big topic of discussion.

I think AZ trial results in USA in a much larger scale are due to be announced this month (someone correct me if I'm wrong?), so I suppose when that point comes it will clear up any confusion and we'll have a definitive outlook either way?

Well there's only 3 days left this month so I guess we'll know soon enough

The flu vaccine does not give you flu either. Though I see why some think it does as you have it in Winter when all kinds of bugs are around. You get one of those by chance soon after the jab and you blame the vaccine. Human nature.

I have had it every year for the past 20 because I was a full time carer. And I get the odd soreness and other symptoms every now and then but not most years.

It is just a sign that it is working.

Same will be true here,

My friend who is 89 had it last week and had a headache for the next day. But was fine after that.

Given her conditions if it prompted nothing serious in her then it will not in most people.

We have done over 7 million jabs so far. If there were more than an infinitesimal number of bad reactions the media would have been all over it. They are probably gutted to have to dump their Killer Vaccine headlines.

I think some people do have a bit of a reaction to it like all vaccines. You are quite young to have had it already do you have underlying medical conditions?

I'm having mine tomorrow so fingers crossed!
Had to have it because of work, I’m high risk for the group I work with.

I know a fair few that have had it a few over 80s some younger 20 up to 75 worst any have said was a headache. Most have been fine.

I was at a funeral yesterday of a neighbour ( Non covid) and a woman there had been ill after having the jab. I thought with this jab, unlike the flu one, you weren't injected with any of the virus so I'm a bit confused why people are having reactions.

The flu- like symptoms are caused by your immune system responding to the vaccine. It's expected, and does not mean you've been infected.

I had my covid jab on Monday, I’ve just got rid of the side effects ( flu, headaches, aches and pains) today, I presume loads of others felt like this, but my brother felt fine after his jab, no side effects..
Just been for physio on my back , and he said he had the vaccine on Monday and felt rough for a couple of days , flu like symptoms.. I can put it up with that

I had the AZ jab on Tuesday

Yesterday I felt like I’d woken up after 15 pints of Stella

today I feel fine apart from sore arm and sore swollen armpit. Apparently swollen lymph glands is a common side effect
