Glad you’re stepping out of it mate
A bout of flu is never pleasant tbf but not being able to walk due to breathlessness was a real shocker.
Managed a good 30 min walk earlier so things are looking more positive now.
The cold weather doesn’t help...I really felt it when the temps dropped.
Cheers mate. Yeah, it’s been freezing today. Thing is, 2 weeks ago today I started running again and felt good for it, yet 2 days later I tested positive! I remember in those 2 days my legs were aching like mad and I put it down to the run on the Saturday but thinking about it, it might’ve been my first Covid symptom

It's so strange how it affects people. Glad to read that you're recovering mate.

GM Scoreboard:

1038 - down from 1243, 34.9% of North West Total which fell by 614 to 2974. 0.2% rise on yesterday,

3 wks v 2 wks v last wk v Today:- 2233 v 1523 v 1367 v 1243. Still looking like a promising fall though slower.

Pop Score is cases across whole pandemic v 100,000 people - rises daily but lower the better.

Weekly Pop is same measure across last 7 days only. Can rise or fall depending on if more cases or less occur today v the same day last week.

Either way Up is bad, down is good.

Manchester 219 – down from 282. Total 45, 435. Weekly 1714. Pop score up 39 to 8218. Weekly Pop down 14 to 310.

Wigan 133 - up from 129. Total cases 24, 779. Weekly 862. Pop score up 40 to 7539. Weekly Pop down 13 to 262.

Bolton 112 - down from 124. Total cases 21, 485. Weekly 781. Pop score up 39 to 7472. Weekly Pop down 11 to 271.

Stockport 106 - down from 119. Total cases 17, 277. Weekly 770. Pop score up 36 to 5888. Weekly Pop down 4 to 262.

Salford 103 - down from 111. Total cases 19, 597. Weekly 756. Pop score up 39 to 7571. Weekly Pop down 8 to 292.

Tameside 85 – down from 108. Total cases 15, 206. Weekly 645. Pop score up 38 to 6714. Weekly Pop down 8 to 285.

Trafford 78 - down from 94. Total cases 14, 267. Weekly 562,. Pop score up 33 to enter the 6000 club at 6011. Leaving Stockport as the last borough standing in the 5000 club. For a few days anyway. And also gains another 3 on Stockport's overall pop score lead cutting it to 123. Weekly Pop down 14 to 237. Trafford's good few few days has also made it the lowest (as in best) weekly Pop score in GM.

Rochdale 71- down from 103. Total cases 18,102. Weekly 593. Pop score up 32 to 8139.Weekly Pop down 18 to 267.

Oldham 68 - down from 95. Total cases 19, 906. Weekly 589. Pop score up 28 to 8395. Lowest rise of the day. Weekly Pop down 18 to 248.

Bury 63- down from 78. Total cases 14, 750. Weekly 487. Well clear now as lowest weekly total. And first sub 500 in GM for some weeks, Pop score up 33 to 7723. Weekly Pop down 14 to 255.

A really good day as every single borough's weekly Pop Score fell meaning week to week it has fewer cases than this day last week. All boroughs bar Manchester in the 200s and Manchester only just above. This means nobody in GM will be in the top 100 of the England watch list and most will be in the last hundred now instead.

My little hammer is nearly 8 months now. I’m slightly concerned he has had little to no interaction with any other baby’s/toddlers - anyone know if that’s ok for him and his development ?
All he has really had is me and my wife. It’s hard going not having much of the family around to help out.
You are right to bear that in mind. But no need to worry. As soon as Covid permits introduce him to family and friends. A good registered baby minder with a group of toddlers and space will do wonders. My grandson (aged 12 months) loves his days there.
He will soon make up for lost time: learning capacity massive in early years.
If grandparents are about, rope them in as soon as is ok covidwise. We are suckers!
Good luck with him. Enjoy.

I did a run around platt fields park today, what shocked me was there was a full eleven a side game going on on the plastic pitches at platt lane, full kits, refs and linesmen, had to be an organised game as there was no way they could have climbed the fences around the pitch.
Thought all of that was stopped under lockdown? Seems a bit hypocritical of me to complain as I watch city on the telly all the time. Just seemed strange
