As long as deaths and hospitalisations keep falling cases don’t really matter. In fact, given catching it is at least as protective as any vaccine, it might not be such a bad idea.

Not only that but with BoJo’s apparent u-turn on vaccine passports, they can’t be dished out fast enough.

I live near Endcliffe Park in Sheffield, scene of "carnage" on Tuesday. Media distorting the picture again, it was small groups of students keeping a good distance apart just enjoying the sun, minimal risk.No - cant literally see *any* reason why that would prompt a lockdown. The very definition of overthinking mate.
The littering was a disgrace, but it was magically gone the next day !

Agree, though there is a good chance a higher %age of those not vaccinated and breaking the rules have had it and have some immunity, more than those older vaccinated people.No point catching the virus when vaccines are being dished out at a rapid rate.
Especially as it’s probably the same ones that broke the rules before.
Think the average number that have had it is about 20% for the whole UK, would expect it’s higher as you go younger.

Fair enough. I just think focussed protection is the way to go (and always has been). Protect the vulnerable and don’t worry about the rest. By that I mean vaccinate all the over 60’s and clinically vulnerable across the planet and don’t focus too much on the rest. Full details later but another good day in England as it was in the other UK nation reports earlier.
Patients down 156 to sub 3000 at 2928.
Ventilators fell by 31 - most in a few days too - to now be just 470.
To put that in perspective - there are less people in total now in England on ventilators than were dying pretty much every day just a few weeks ago.
And remember England is the biggest majority of patients and ventilators now as there are under 50 on them outside England and well under 1000 in the other 3 nations combined as patients.

the health bureaucrats who have little or no epidemiological credibility but the new found pop star status being on the big screen every morning tell the premier to lock down and they fall in line. like the sheep they are.
When asked why instead of saying our contract tracing is sub standard still after 12 months despite the low numbers they tow the political line that got them re elected that we have to keep our state safe whatever that means.

I'm in my mid 40s and not had 1 jab yet sadly.
Just have to wait but I don't believe we will get everyone done by July 31 ,I just don't believe what they say anymore
