Great idea, not , people going for vaccinations could have it and spread it
 
Unfortunately the hospital situation is still going the wrong way in past 24 hours. Though not quite as bad today.

England hospital Patients up just 15 to 22, 728.

But ventilators up 45 to 1899. These are escalating at a worrying rate as the number keeping low was one of thw key reasons we expected the death numbers not to reach first wave levels.

I guess it isnt as supermarkets are allowed to sell everything from food to clothes and electronics etc.

This is unfair on other retailers and just forces more people into supermarkets, if other shops were open than people wouldnt over crowd supermarkets for clothes and irons etc ;). But I guess the supermarkets fund the tory party so the government keeps the other shops like premark, currys etc closed while the supermarket can sell everything.

Surely if the government only want people in tier 4 to only go out for food, medicine or work make supermarkets only sell food. It's not rocket science !

They tried that during the welsh circuit breaker, blocking parts of supermarkets off, and were then criticised.

But in the first National lockdown those areas were blocked off I think. So the government give in to people who want to buy a pair of Jean's !
I think we need a hard lockdown now not this tier crap

Regional hospital data in past 24 hours:

LONDON Patients up 161 to 5685. Ventilators up 24 to 664

MIDLANDS Patients up 78 to 3944. Ventilators down 1 to 305

NE/YORKSHIRE Patients down 11 to 2562. Ventilators up 3 to 169.

And

NORTH WEST

Patients UP 36 to 2550 - on verge of being overtaken by Yorkshire after being well ahead up to last week or two.

Ventilators UP 10 to 198 -a rise of 23 in past two days starting to look a bit concerning as to a trend after going down for several weeks.

I don’t think they were, but can’t remember tbh. I think people were saying they needed baby clothes, kids shoes, kettles. But def unfair on small shops who are forced to shut.

205 cases down from 208. Total cases 5957

Pop Score up 182 to 5290. One of biggest rises today

Weekly Pop up 24 from 1075 to 1099.



MEDWAY

Cases 378 - down from 557. Total cases 6157.

Pop score up 136 to 6157.

Weekly Pop up 12 from 1026 to 1038.


Needless to say those Pop scores or daily rises are not good ones.
