It will be contributing to the overall strain on the NHS though, increased traffic will mean more accidents and some of those will inevitably require attendance by emergency services. It might not be a large number and I would accept that some people may need to drive to reach somewhere appropriate for their exercise, however, 30 miles is excessive.Driving for a walk is not contributing to the spread of this disease or the crush in the hospitals. It's Christmas and all other unnecessarily socialising that is doing it.
My son is learning to drive, in addition to driving instructors having to stop, government guidance is not to take him out for lessons ourselves as it’s not an essential journey, same principle.
