Has anyone suffered a reaction from having the Covid vaccine ?
I had it Thursday Morning .Started feeling rough in the Evening and most of Friday
Right as rain now though
Much rather have a small reaction to it than catching it proper
Remember having a reaction from a typhoid jab 30 years ago so I must just be an unlucky fu*ker when it comes to jabs
On the first night after I had the jab I just felt cold (as though I was outside when in the house). The second night I felt tired and went to bed a couple of hours early. That was it for me with the Oxford / AZ jab.

Not had mine yet (hopefully in the next couple of week) but a reaction like you have had seems to be a good thing. It shows that your body is producing antibodies strongly so as you are fine now it's all good.

I had the AZ jab a couple of weeks ago

the day after that I felt like I had a bad hangover. I was fine the next day apart from a sore arm and armpit which took about 5 days to completely disappear

She's endangering your whole workforce, potentially causing an office quarantine. Go above her and complain, in my employment it would likely be gross misconduct, and a sack able offence if I did it and was found out.
At ours one bragged about a family party for a birthday, one director found out and said she’s not coming in next week then only for her manager to argue “she sees her family anyway” and that was the end of it.

I gave up trying to convince them things were lax when I told them someone was breaking isolation to come in and they did nothing about it.

After 4 days out of hospital under the care of the “virtual Covid ward”, I’m feeling much better. I use the oxygen provided for about an hour a day, usually after my sister has visited and I feel a little winded for talking, which is a strange feeling.

Again it may sound silly but I yawned this morning and felt like I took in a big breath without coughing - that genuinely seemed a million miles away last week.

Making small steps each day, making tea, going out for a drive with the old man and Mrs, no destination just drive around and take in some fresh air.

Since getting Covid and spending a week in hospital, I lost just under 2 stone which I could do with tbf...my appetite completely disappeared leading up to hospital, but the steroids they give you (dexamethasone) is a wonder drug, and I was told to wait for my appetite come back with vengeance; took about an hour!

Me and the old man are taking it very easy whilst trying to making a conscious effort to push to do something each day. Thank Yaya that I have the Mrs though, she has been an absolute God send throughout everything we’ve been through this year, and continues to look after us every day. Not sure if what I would’ve done without her.

Anyone suffering I hope your feeling a bit better today and can see some small light at the end of the tunnel.
Glad you’re slowly getting in the mend mate. Long process but each day you’ll start feeling that little bit more better.

keep us updated.

All vulnerable groups will by vaccinated by April. Isn’t it time to get on with life then? This virus isn’t going to disappear is it.

When i read comments like this, it tells me just how lucky i am to only of had flu symptoms. Really good to hear you're on the mend, small steps definitely the way to go. Good luck in your recovery.

My Mom (75 years old) had her first jab three days ago.

No side effects whatsoever and she actually says she's slept better the last two nights than since the pandemic began :)
Fantastic news, these messages definitely bring a smile!!

Here is something nice

A couple in their 80s who have been married for 60 years have had an emotional reunion after being kept apart for almost a year by the coronavirus pandemic.

Stanley and Mavis Harbour, from Bolton

In 2012 ran out the ground to meet my dad as I always do after the game, leapt on him and floored him. Thought I’d killed him!
My dad sits in the next block. I made my way over to him after, tapped him and went “never in doubt!” And he just turned round, laughed and hugged me for the first time in my life with tears in his eyes.
