Can I ask those who are parents of young kids for their opinion? We plan to meet up legally in parks with school friends (they are in a bubble at school and we'll be distanced from the parents). However one parent has asked our son round to play with her son. Under normal circumstances we'd drop him off for a few hours and then pick him up. They suggested that the boys play outside in their garden for the whole time, however I have my doubts even 9year olds can keep to that. Do you think this kind of arrangement is just too soon. My wife thinks leave them to it, I have slight anxiety and don't feel comfortable. Awkward conversation saying no home visit but yes to a park.

I came across this Tweet. It sounded genuine enough - and it might well be although I’m calling bullshit - but upon checking his Twitter feed I found it full of Covid denial conspiracy shite going back way before this one:

First time I've really noticed ROI going in a different direction. I don't know if there are caveats behind these numbers today or what but in a day with really positive declining numbers throughout the UK, whilst it's amazing to assume that this is the success of our vaccine rollout, on the other side of that it's disheartening to see a nation which is literally attached to the UK perhaps showing signs of not managing so well. Really hope that the EU and rest of the world can start getting vaccines into arms in much higher numbers asap.
