Still feeling dreadful. Everyone be careful - this is horrendous.
It's hell then purgatory. Nothing you can do but rest assured it eventually gets better.
Remember being in a bed pretty much all day (managed a little walk Ito the sofa in the evening sat in parka coat and blanket and hot water bottle). The lethargy was like having a huge weight pressing you down in bed.

Hopefully that vaccine has taken the edge of the worse mate, but keep us updated.

Keep up the efforts, many check in for your info and it’s much appreciated
Thank you. I will do my best.

It has been the kind of busy week I used to have most weeks a few years ago so it came as a bit of a shock to be having to juggle TV cameras, writing articles and submitting an academic paper at the same time.

All not remotely connected with Covid.

Ironically it was about something several of you in here were discussing on another thread in this non football related part of the forum. I had to resist the urge not to comment.

Not sure I want to go back to that kind of existence and I only agreed to do this for a friend. It was fun when I was younger but these days more a chore - especially as I know far too well first hand how the media operate.

And why I get so frustrated by how they have dealt with Covid and wanted to go to the sources directly for the data in the first place.

Hopefully, though. the need for me to post here is on the way into the history books. Though not there yet.

Nobody will be happier than I will on that day.

And stay strong Worsley. It sounds awful but there will be light at the end of that tunnel.

It is.
Just shows how many die from Covid when modern medical services are overwhelmed. No oxygen, no drugs mean it's difficult to survive if you're very ill.
Just a single pic horrifed me. A man standing alone in a field l think. Arms stretched he screams aloud. Whether in pain or in anguish l am not sure but you can't help compare that poor bugger with the deniers here and other countries.

Zoe App update!

Their predicted UK cases (which have been about 50% of the cases reported for real all week) is today BELOW 1000 for the first time this year.

Down to 943 from 1064.

Zoe confirm it is the lowest ever number they have recorded beating 948 last August in the early days of the ap.

And ongoing symptomatic cases fall by 1309 in the day to just 20, 510. That is 8094 down in the past seven days - falling EVERY day for weeks now from 100,000 a couple of months back and higher still in January.

Quite a big fall in the North West data has contributed today.

Though as the Gov UK data combines cases from the past five days that might not be reflected for a few days in the daily cases.

Just a reminder Wales no longer post any data on a Saturday.

Tomorrow they will post yesterdays data we would have had today and on Monday that from today and tomorrow in one go.

No hospital data from anywhere likely either over the weekend. England will publish three days in one on Monday.

These are all signs of the downrating of the level of urgency.

The other data will be released as usual today and tomorrow.

It was on the news this morning that the United States have rejected Indian requests for help. It might be that the States has to focus on its own problems for now, or more likely, independent companies de ide who gets supplies of vaccines, equipment etc. Pfizer are a contract to supply the EU with billions of doses of their vaccine.

There was a mention of Boris offering some ventilators but I doubt whether that will put a debt in the Indian pandemic, unfortunately.

Should offer the deniers in this country free business class flights to Delhi..see what the take up would be

Did anyone else notice in those horrendous scenes outside Indian hospitals the number of them not wearing masks despite being clearly in the presence of covid sufferers?
