I see your point but I think they can only guarantee 4 weeks is the end of the situation doesn’t worsen. It's ok for people to say "oh it's only 4 weeks", however it must be remembered that thousands more could potentially lose their jobs potentially and more business's could go bust in the hospitality sector. Plus the mental health of people again takes a hit.
Like I say it's the right choice but there are other things to consider here that people don't think about.
