No, what they will have achieved is the most points up to the league being postponed , .THey will then add to that tally in the next unique phase and when both points totals are added together they will more than likely have the most. What they will have achieved will be unique and never be repeated but it wont be comparable to any previous premier seasons nor will it be possible to compare them . It's not there fault but that's just the way it is and to continue playing is putting players and others at risk.

This might be the one occasion in the history of all time that's been and yet to come where they can be labelled 'blameless', but they will still see themselves as 'victims'!

piped in crowd noise? WTF? No thanks. the crowd is a living breathing thing, the noise changes as the circumstance on the field changes. How can this be simulated? Would it just be generic chants all game?

Once it comes it’ll be hard to shift even when things get back to normal.

It’s just a natural extension of the pre match and half time ferris led cheese fest - cringeworthy videos, irrelevant interviews, insanely loud music, over enthusiastic announcer etc etc. Crowd sound effects will seem like a great idea to the goons who facilitated all that rubbish.

I hope piped in crowd noise has improved since c2004 when we were subjected to it v Bolton at the home. That was my most embarrassing moment as a City fan. Yes, more embarrassing than the Pollock OG and Stockport defeats.

I see that in Germany cardboard cutouts of Hitler and Shipman have appeared in Bundesliga "crowds" Which celebrity would you put in your seat at the Etihad? Think I'd go Jimmy Ssville

Wasn't that interested in restarting the season and just saw it as a way of fufilling the T.V contrct obligations. Talking to my son last night though and think I'm just starting to look forward to watching a bit of football through the summer.

Was at the swamp many many years ago ( yes I know ) free tickets for an FA cup games think it was Q P R they were playing crowd recordings over the pa system 30 min before kickoff I couldn't stop laughing my rag mate wasn't happy
