Coronavirus: Football Discussion Thread

We should run a poll - how long into the first behind closed door game at the Etihad will it take one of the commentators or pundits to say - ‘we are used to empty seats and no atmosphere here’ !
What is the betting sky sports plays you'll never walk alone before them ****s first match?

Wouldn't surprise me if Tyler and screech are filmed by an open fire, whisky in hand and both in full Liverpool* kits singing it.

Scouse loving ****s.

I have just read that the reason we are meant to be playing Newcastle at a neutral venue is because 'they', whoever they are, think there might be protests about the Saudi takeover. Now I have heard some shite excuses in my time but that just about beats them all.

Only see that happening if the press are let in.

the premier league have come out and said teams can play friendlies before the 17th of june restart ?? should they be also on tv and free to air

can somebody remind me again ?? didn't city dig up the pitch and last month or was i dreaming it and will it be ok to play on

Have I just heard that you will be able to name 9 subs as well whenwe re start??
Think that Chelsea have proposed having 9 on the bench (instead of 7) from which 5 can be used (instead of 3), but as somebody else has said, it's just a proposal (at the moment) - tune in tomorrow for more crackpot PL ideas :)

IMO This isn't such a crazy idea if 5 subs are going to be used

The Etithad is completely fenced all the way round as far as I know. So if they want to protest let them. All that is needed is to tell both clubs that the kick off will be early doors. So the kick off will really be at let's say 12.00hrs. But those who are interested in showing the game would let's say 15.00hrs.

Any way, aren't they more likely to protest up in Newcastle's at St. James's Park then at an away game. If from what I remember doesn't one side of the ground open up upon a main road. Thus making it easier to do any from of protest.
