Coronavirus: Football Discussion Thread

Bayern v Chelsea is the latest game they've announced will be played behind closed doors.
 
If Madrid push for it UEFA will do all they can to oblige. Might be up to the UK Gov but what happens if Madrid refuse to play? If they cite player and fan safety I am sure UEFA would end up agreeing with them and demand it is either postponed or played behind closed doors. It is their competition at the end of the day
 
Lol Uefa will definitely do all in their power for this game to play behind closed doors. Will probably be the loudest booing ever recorded

Edit: Don't now if anyone's mentioned it but both Courtois and Marcelo are rules out for the second leg, which means Areola starts in goal. Might as well try to shoot from any angle as he's the French Bravo
 
In each of the games being behind closed doors UEFA are adhering to the national governments guidelines on social gatherings. To date there is no ban here, I suspect by the time we get to the Madrid game it potentially will be however. But it’s our government and no conspiracy to give Madrid a leg up.
