Very sad looking at Celebration videos today. We all knew Liverpool would be out celebrating in fact if city win champs league I can see blues out doing the same.

This is why the entire football season should have been cancelled. If the second wave hits in a few weeks our sport & gov need to do some soul searching. Zero respect to life has been shown. Large gatherings have been happening for about 5 weeks.

If that 2nd wave doesn’t come then serious questions about Covid need to be asked too.

Nothing makes sense on the planet right now & it seems the Uk is in free fall! The gov have zero control, the police are terrified & depleted & god help the nhs if another wave hits.

My opinion on football is very low once again.

Agree if city win champs league we will gather around our stadium! It’s the Scouse media saying that they wouldn’t do it now are the ones defending them celebrating outside the ground!

The Governments approach was no to go for herd immunity.
Very sensible decision as they knew there are enough fucking idiots in this country to perform an unofficial version themselves.
A spike in cases and deaths in Merseyside would be just desserts, I just feel sorry for the NHS workers in these areas.
You can guarantee that any rise in cases will be someone else's fault, not theirs.

They kill the elderly who are having to queue at the supermarket, the person that has been shielding for 3 months because they have medical problems. These selfish half wits will probably never see the inside of a hospital but you can bet that thanks to some dirty dipper inbred loads will.

They don't need to scrap the season or indeed football because they are running a perfect trial of football without the pesky fans getting in the way.

In my cynical moments l think the same but the yanks whose ways we seem to follow have big crowds at their televised sports.

The US states that have seen increases in cases are those that experienced mild peaks in the Spring. If you look at the states in the North East, there isn't a problem there yet. No one had the same intensity of epidemic as New York, they are left with antibody rates of over 50% in parts of the Bronx and Brooklyn, but I think our experience is closer to New York than states like Florida,or maybe in between.

I think the epidemic will continue to decline in Western Europe but there could be local outbreaks centred on factories where conditions suit its transmission. The thing that matters is that we improve the way we protect the at risk groups. Everyone has noted how it seriously affects the old and immune compromised but no one has really done anything about it anywhere in the world.

It's possible that Ireland and Scotland could be Covid19 free soon. See their data.

Would have agreed with you a few weeks back but having seen ve day, BLM and the beaches lately I am not so sure as there dosnt thankfully appear to have been a spike after that lot
