MartianMoleintheHole at Twitter says he has received emails that the Premier League will declare this season “void”. Possibly an April’s Fool joke a day early as one person quipped or may be there’s some truth in it:

Or it could be that he has far more important things to think about. Saving hundreds/thousands of lives v telling a load of greedy bastards that the season has finished just so that they don't have to make a decision.

Mo Farah is running the marathon,he is far ahead of the pack when a stray comet lands on the road and stops them all finishing the race,they won't say to Mo you take the gold because you were ahead because he didn't finish the race

I have a suggestion how the season could finish. Top 2 teams in each division become joint winners for 6 months each ie: Liverpool get trophy for six months then pass it on to City for remaining 6 months. Bottom 2 in the Premier League go down(as the table stands) to be replaced by Leeds&West Brom who also share the trophy as joint winners. Bottom 2 go down and so on to the other divisions ect. That's the fairest way and best possible outcome with an * after the winners for 2019-20 season in the records.

I think people are slowly waking up to the fact that we're not talking about weeks, any more, but months. There is no way on this earth that those last nine matches are being played, short of hugely disrupting the 2020-21 season.

said it before some people conected to certain clubs or favor certain clubs will push for this to be finished at all costs, September may see it resume with a 19 game 20/21 season, this sits well with the euro's 'in their opinion',,even this has its problems with out of contract players etc

The jump racing season ended around 5 or 6 week early and they more than likely awarding the Champion Jockey to Brian Hughes, and his rivals support it if that happens. 19 wins ahead so in theory could be caught in a week, but in horse racing no one is concerned about who wins right now as most are self employed and on low earnings so it is a real struggle for the vast majority of jockeys.
