There was a story in one of the papers (I might have even seen it after the link was posted on here) that had worked out how many people would be at a ground where a game was played behind closed doors but was being broadcast on tv. I think it was something approaching 200. Now to me that makes it a non starter straight away.

Knew it was a significant number even if I couldn't remember exactly. So at that point you'd then have plenty of clubs at the lowest end of the pyramid pointing out that that's less than their average attendance so they should be allowed to play!

That is not what has been said.
I don't like correcting people, but what was actually said was Pubs will be unlikely to open until July, with them not getting back to normal until at least christmas.

You don’t need to correct me this is from the horses mouth or Michael Gove at the Government briefing with the press.

More like certain clubs are desperate the pandemic eases to get the season finished,the desperation we have write ups every other day trying to put forward finishing the season,at the end of the day there are ones pushing this,and don’t give too fucks about the number of deaths in the uk it’s all about money ..

Even if it was eased there would be still safe distancing in place! They usually always say at the end of these restart fairy story they will abide by the government rules
