Caught a bit of Sunday Supplement this morning, they all more or less agreed that no way can football start up anytime soon and they all fully expect this season to be voided, so that's Sky putting it out there......I think ?? Did anyone else catch anymore of it ?

They were saying they don't want it voided,apparently football is special and we must complete the competition
They did discuss what would happen if teams cannot field their men's team because of infections and isolating,they say if the dippers got the points from the league then he could,rightly,not play the men's team and play kids,would teams be able to play ladies if they had gaps in the men's team and other silly scenarios

Ah ok Karen, I thought from the tone they were conceding that it would be voided as too many variables to end it fairly any other way.

Surely that has potential for match fixing play full strength against Villa and weak team against Norwich well open for abuse tbh.

The government doesn’t have an infinite pot of money to support all businesses & I’d imagine propping up PL clubs and other sports would be fairly low on their list. If the economy is on the verge of complete collapse then supporting professional sport wouldn’t even be on the list.

The government doesn't have any money it is all ours tax payers that is and that is going down with people out of work sales subject to V A T and vastly reduced tax from fuel sales. so the pot is getting emptier fast. To reinforce you point.

Some batant stupidity, not to mention corruption and desperation, just to try and ensure that the dippers win the PL.

The Coronavirus test isn’t 100% accurate because if they don’t have enough substance on the test stick it can say negative when it maybe positive.

i agree without question but never the less sport is a big direct/indirect employer

It will be safe to play football when it's safe to pack buses and trains, I'd certainly rather be in a packed penalty area rather than a carriage. If neither can happen if the next 3 months then we're all fucked.
