Coronavirus: Football Discussion Thread

If its safe for the premier league to restart, its safe for the WSL to restart, it's safe for all football to start, it's safe for pubs to open it's safe for cinema's to open , it's safe to visit my brother.

I am surprised the womens game hasnt kicked up a stink about all this effort to restart the mens game and ignore the womens game. In most other work places it would be against the law to ignore the women employees guess not in football.

My definition of safe is 30 or so athletes under the age of 35, who have tested negative for a virus multiple times that week being allowed to play. The fact the 8 or so out of 1000 have tested positive and taken out of play for 7 days proves the safety measures are working. The first game won't be for a few weeks there's a high chance the virus will be all but gone by then.
I wasn't going to reply too this however, I would love to know where you are getting your scientific information from that this virus will "be all but gone by then" when this virus lives in the blood! This virus is airborne, what do you think is going to happen to it? disappear into space? Wow!
You should tell that to all the families whose children under the age of 35 who are still in intensive care and to all the families whose children have already died being fit and healthy!
Just because players have tested negative on that day in that minute does not mean they will be negative by the time they will play the match.
But it's ok because its on the news and the government are reporting it, it must be true
