Corruption in English football?

The charges concern La Liga (and possibly Spanish Cup) games only, unless Barcelona played other Spanish teams in UEFA competitions with Spanish referees. UEFA said they would wait until the outcome to see if they would apply their veto.
Also, UEFA seem to see their role as governing body for their club and national competitions rather than governing body for European football in general which is what I thought they were supposed to be.
Cheers for the explanation.

It does make you think about that Chelsea game. If they have actually paid refs in la liga it's not much of a jump to attempt it for a champs league game.
They had about 7 keepers in that game. Either that or the referee had never heard of the handball rule.

Not English football but just seen the highlights of bayern v dortmund yesterday.
That dortmund keeper must have been throwing the game.
