Corruption in English football?

I have a question for the corruption deniers.
Can you tell me one professional sporting organisation that would allow some one to officiate at the highest level even thought they are not physically fit ? (a key requirement for his role)
Further the same person is incompetent in how he undertakes his officiating and finally after being presented with a dossier regarding his (corrupt) officiating, still employ him AND put him in charge of a match concerning that team ?

I bet you cannot name one sport where someone like the fat fuck that did our game today would be allowed to be in charge.
Didn't the commentator say at one point that he should book himself for obstruction?

Baseball has lots of fat umpires but they aren't required to move.

Tbf that was a fair tackle - I assumed he was under instructions to play for Palace in the 2nd half.

Mason is a shit ref.

Two identical incidents tonight where his decisions differed.

He always gives off the impression doesn't want to be there but he didn't book anybody which I found weird.

I'm sure Graham Poll said in his book that he got told to Ref differently at Utd and don't give any stupid decisions against them AND to get out of the swamp as quickly and quietly as possible with as less fuss as they can.

Mason is a piss poor ref, but I’m not sure slightly overweight officials are conclusive proof of corruption, tbh.

This thread is embarrassing. You should’ve been asking for and posters providing inconclusive proof. They can’t because it’s all utter bullocks. Hearsay, conjecture, this., that, he said, she said drivel. One poster, just one, post conclusive proof of corruption. We’ll be waiting FOR. EVER.

We can't provide conclusive proof, we can only look at evidence. Conclusive proof can only be decided on if there is an investigation into corruption, and evidence is looked at, and that evidence is found to be accurate.

In 2016, retired PL referee Mark Halsey said "I have been in that situation when I have seen an incident and been told to say I haven’t seen it." He added "To be fair to the FA, it comes from within the PGMOL."

So here we have a former referee admitting that his bosses have told him to tell lies. Gary Neville responded to this by asking "Is that not corrupt?"

In 2018, the same referee admitted that he had agreed to caution a player during a game, so that the player reached five cautions and served a one-game ban in an unimportant midweek game. This meant the player would not receive a caution in the midweek game, and would therefore not be banned for the next game, which was a derby.

The player could just as easily have asked to be left out of the midweek game, but he clearly didn't want to ask his manager, and couldn't trust his own temperament. He therefore concocted this little scheme with a compliant referee.

Here are two allegations that strongly point towards corruption in the game. Not conclusive proof, no. But why hasn't there been an investigation into these matters? Why wasn't Halsey interviewed by the football authorities and asked for further evidence? Why wasn't the matter passed to the police for them to investigate?

Neville asked whether the first incident was corruption, but nobody did anything to follow it up. No official investigation. No referral to the police. Just carry on, as if nothing has happened.

It smacks of corruption to me.

@Ric my question wasn't about Mason being fat and piss poor, you have missed the point entirely. I asked what other professional organisation would allow it.
I will word it this way then, why does the Premier League and Pigmol allow Mason to be on the football pitch. This isn't just about City, Nuno Santo has just been fined for calling him out. How come the 'greatest league in all the world' have such low standards, (he even tackled a City player yesterday!)
My answer would be that he toes the party line with the corrupt management and so keeps his job.
