Corruption in English football?

Dipper's v West Brom - 16 May 2021.

If you still don't believe that corruption exists in the English game...
Sky need it to try and keep some interest going :( Relegation done the title wrapped up only target to keep viewing figures up
Is 3rd 4th place just a shame Everton / West Ham have bottled it big time ........ don’t they will get this close again for a long while

Bingo!!!

The advertising revenue alone from punters watching their games in UK/Scandinavia/USA/Australia is huge, and if the Dipper's don't make top 4 CL places then there will be a noticeable dip in PL/UEFA revenue.

CORRUPT TO THE CORE.

You watch should Burnley go a goal up then something bent will happen ........ my god a season pro ref like Dean getting it so badly wrong sums it up ......... if he came to the wrong decision then why oh why didn’t VAR pull it up ????? I bet you any money had it been the other way then WBA wouldn’t have got away with it :(

Whatever the relative merits of cricket, tennis and rugby they all embrace technology in an open and fair way. The reviews are transparent and every spectator knows how a decision is made. The difference with var is staggering. It is about tv revenues and protecting the old guard. Stretford have useful forwards but their midfield is averagely thuggish with mediocre keepers. Now they're challenging for the title. Always helps when you can foul the opposition with impunity and know your friends in black will prove compliant when things get sticky.

Its easy to call out corruption in the third world but you're mad if you think UK is squeaky clean. Phone hacking mps expenses insider trading tax avoidance. The rich are rich because they exploit others but the chasm between the haves and have nots has never been wider. If you're wealthy and powerful you protect your own. Hence FFP and the nonces nine. PIGMOB are notoriously secretive and would appear to accountable to no one. Good governance has nothing to hide but the FA have got fruit up their arse.
As long as the fruit is a pineapple, inserted widthways and there’s no lube involved

Hey come on! A wee disallowed goal, Baggies going down anyway, doesn't matter, BUT if the Dippers can get three points when they should be chasing the game, and make sure time is added on so they can have one last gasp corner? Instead of scabbing one point at the death they have three stuffed up their candle-lit arses and they are in sniffing distances of the arses in front of them. One last heave from those gents with the whistle and the bastions of imparitality in the VAR shed and the Dippers have CL footy. It's a win-win situation. What joy! What ecstasy! What dodgy arbitration!

crazy that people think its clean and fair ?
the officials and VAR have it wrapped up and when mike riley is head of the referees and the system you can bet its bent ? Mr riley was why united won so many titles because they had him and the rest in there pockets

manchester city have done the impossible really in fighting the system and winning. pep even said it when winning the title manchester city have to win everything because nobody gives up anything. can manchester city keep fighting the system ? short term yes. but its getting harder and when the bottom half of table clubs are taking £120million just for being in the premier league its because they roll over when told to

you knew it was coming yesterday when west brom had a goal cross off for offside ? them 3 points was only going one way and its was to liverpool ? they had the officials and the ref is from that part of the world. west brom players knew what was happening and the keeper needed so major boost after a poor season and it was worked out from the corner

nobody picking up a player is one thing. but letting him run free as a bird for a free header is bent
its easy just pick up the keeper block his run jump with him to put him off ? BENT

This.

Just watch the highlights. Spitty can fuck off with his faux sympathy for WBA. They way he celebrates when Allison scored was unprofessional.

Let's be honest mat, most of the performances from fucking pundits are unprofessional and heavily biased.

So why have 3 of them doing the game
Carragher played for Liverpool
Souness managed played for Liverpool
Redknapp played for Liverpool

surly there should have been a pundit with either connections to WBA or no connection to Liverpool ...... but neither it was completely nailed on to be biased

Feeding the lemming fan base ( rag and dipper ) is the first priority of the tv companies, as ever.

Raheem Sterling is denied a stonewall penalty against Chelsea that would have hugely benefitted Liverpool.

Liverpool had 2 big penalty shouts against Utd, both of which would have hugely benefitted Liverpool.

If the fix is in there are easier ways to make it happen than rely on injury time winners from a goalkeeper.

I think now all football fans in this country are seeing just how bent the Premier League (in particular) really is - and has been for a long long time.
A lot of die hard followers of the sport would have seen the first signs of obvious bias when the rags were being gifted trophies back in the 80's: the lack of penalties given against the rags for all those years was a sure sign something was not quite right. We all thought VAR would straighten it out, but quite the reverse has happened. It is there on our tv screens, right in front of us, match after match after match both the rags and the dippers being assisted. We can see it in our own living rooms so you can bet your bottom dollar everyone else sees it too. A quick rewind and you have the ability to scrutinise everything that happened on the pitch. And if the ref makes a decision that is so blatantly wrong but it helps the redshirts, then too fucking bad - go and watch ice hockey or something. Because there is absolutely nothing any of us can about what is happening to this game we all love. We see a rag or dipper deliberately put a hand out to stop a certain goal against them but the ref plays on. We rewind it watch it again and again and see it is a most blatant penalty not given against the media darlings...again. But that's it, nothing to see here, move along: the man in the middle has made a decision that ensures rags/dippers win the game and he is never ever going to have to justify that decision, so hard luck. We have to live with the consequences of knowing full well that games are not decided on the pitch, there are decided by the cartel of officials and football law administers in this country.

Don't kid yourselves it's going to get better, there's way too much money involved for the opinions of us proles to be considered.
