Corruption in English football?

Show me the judge’s summing up will you. I reckon it must be dynamite. PM if it’s too incendiary...
Show me a single current player in the Premier League who is gay; I want actual evidence mind, clear as day and night, black and white stuff, not hear say or "he says - she says" rumour stuff. I want actual evidence, otherwise I simple will not accept that a single one of the 1,000 or so professional top flight players are gay, it's just not possible.

Do you see the stupidity of your blinkered stance yet pal?

Has no one read the Times article? Has no one a subscription? Bet if this was Liverpool forum they would have hacked the paper by now....
Funny how the BBC aren't reporting the article. They had no problem reporting articles from a German paper I seem to remember.
I am far too tight-fisted for that, what’s it all about?

So football is bent. Just not English football? Progress at least

so, what is it about English football that makes it safe from corruption?
Because we are not Johnny Foreigner, we are English. The British Empire rules the world and is a beacon of honesty and truth. We would not dream of cheating, I would be drummed out of my club don't you know, black balled and quite right too.

The police, to my best knowledge, will investigate any law breaking, irrespective of interested parties. This thread, if you read the thread title (always helps)!is about English football. I’ve watched city since I was 6 and football in general since the same age. Yet to see any person or persons charged in court with corruption in those 47 years so that’s the basis for my thoughts. I may have missed some huge case or cases and, as requested, would happily like to read them if I have. Do send me the details if you have them. As I say, the last 47 years, so plenty of scope...

There are other examples of course, Grobbelar (sorry for the spelling) Eric Black. Our Arry was on a dodgy wicket for a while. There were investigations around a betting ring that was influencing PL games a few years ago after a retired Saints player admitted on Norwegian TV that it was happening.

where you have poor oversight and governance and corruption within those bodies FIFA, UEFA, FA, you can rest assured that investigation will be discouraged At all costs. You also need a media that is willing to perform investigative journalism rather than suck on the teet of that very corruption. There is enough evidence there mate and I think that’s just after the surface has been scratched.
