Corruption in English football?

Just because it’s not on their shirts, doesn’t mean they aren’t already sponsored by any betting firms ;)
 
I back you guys, and your team is definitely NOT a part of the group that seem to be favoured.... But I think as a football fan.. to really understand corruption you have to accept that our world of club alleigences is made-up.... I agreed on here many times you guys get a very hard time of it.. over a long period of time.. and I respect this is City forum.. but football dsoent revolve around City and either does football corruption... The real "teams" are agencies, sponsors, broadcasters and betting companies... and looking at it as City vs is never going to get you to the true story...

All fan of all teams.. they get their heart broken by their team being screwed over... but the ones that get their heart broken by their team winning.. they have a new level of understanding...

Did you find all the penalties we got in the world cup believable? Serious question.... Golden boot was just one of many manufactred things about that compo... And if you bought that.. and the "marking" at the corner when we got our winner v tunisia.. then to be honest you'll never understand this...

I am one of the people that believes in a WWE level sharade.. so mock me if you like.. I'm fine with that.. But you ave to look past your own club... and not be that guy complaining that Raw is fixed against Daniel Bryan... Or that the wwe refs are too weak and they make too many mistakes... Just going sideways from fiction to fiction...

Tell me.. wrestling fans... what role does the referee play in a match... a key one... and how? running the match, relaying messages between the wrestlers, passing them blades ec.. always distracted from by some silly theatrics or pretending to check how the wrestlers are...

Now tell me, do football referees really need to walk up to the goalkeeper and tell him right to his face to stay on the line every fucking time at a penalty..? No they don't... But its just one layer of the theatrics used to cover the co-ordination of matches.. Sorry.. I cant change my mind now.. if you disagree im happy for you you can enjoy it.

TV cameras have been scrutynising the players and zooming on to lip read for 25+ years now... and only in the last 5 years do they need to cover their mouths when telling each other good game? Open your eyes lol....

Everyone makes more money in a manipulated system than serious competition.... No more brown bags under the table just for same reasons there's no green grocer no more.. It's tesco all the way down.. aka the gestifuts and doyans of this world...

Any of you see our "match" with wolves? Who's our managers agent? And their managers agent? And half their players agent? And our new rbs agent? And who did we buy him from again...? suspect early goal continues the ndomle storyline.. late equaliser, everyone's happy.. oh and we didn't have a shot on goal after 25 odd minutes... get it????????

They absolutely are. Take note of how certain goalkeepers are employed by a certain agent and how those certain keepers developed a habit of throwing the ball into their own net if the dippers weren’t winning against them on 80 minutes.
Third party ownership remains rife, despite the rule changes, and hence the massive sums paid directly into the offshore accounts of agents by clubs. Some of which flows in into club owners offshore accounts.
The game’s as bent as a 9 Bob note. It became very attractive to rich blokes, when top level taxation was 19 and 6 in the pound in the early 70’s, because you buy a foreign player at whatever value you decide is ok and that money goes off to South America or wherever and HMRC couldn’t do jack about it.
That’s continued to this present day. Remember the rags buying Bebe or whatever he was called for millions? He was bought for £250k and sold to Utd for millions . . and he wasn’t even worth the £250k but the GPC made the decision and the money went off to South America.
Wonder who profited from that eh?
Nowadays with a multi billion betting market relying on results it’s got even worse.

If you’re saying there’s corruption in the game, I totally agree as there’s loads of evidence since the year dot. Suggesting football is fixed like WWE is too far fetched for me to buy into & there’s no clear evidence that I’ve seen to suggest otherwise, especially seeing as it’s clear that certain authoritative figures don’t want City winning fuck all
 
Mike Dean with another bizarre sending off in the West Ham game assisted by Lee Mason on VAR....they will now miss West Ham’s next 3 games. Can’t remember who West Ham have in the FA Cup next week?

Is it just me or do a lot of Dean’s weird decisions favour any one team in particular?

Mike Celebrity Dean is a ****. However this time I think the rag sympathiser in VAR swayed him. Commentary mentioned Mason telling Dean to "look for the fist"

By no means does this let that bent bastard off. He was suspended a few years ago for his business relationship with a bookmaker.
