Corruption in English football?

Panarama documentary last night about Daniel Kinahan. Good watch. Shows the levels that the underworld are prepared to go to, in order to get a slice of the action. Its about the money for sure. If it happens in boxing ? Big named boxers and promoters being photographed with these people too. One minute people getting shot, the next they're all in the ring on PPV. Barry Mcguigan lost Frampton to these guys, 250 boxers on their books, unbelievable.
Everything is corrupt. Fair play to Barry. He was the only one to appear on camera.
And now Kinahan’s money laundering operation wants to move into football

Tick tock. He'll get extradited back here soon enough and then he's getting life.
He has a Liverpool fan nobody in football has ever heard of acting as his stooge/frontman/bagman.

organised crime has bled into the football world previously with a Merseyside link. There were various incidents surrounding Gerrard, and also Carragher’s father. There were also the alleged death threats surrounding Paul Stretford’s poaching of a teenage Wayne Rooney from Merseyside ‘boxing promoters’ the Hylands, who thought they had him signed up

They'll not have the money though, CAB have already won their case here and his cash operations have been crippled over the last few years. Once he goes to jail and assets are frozen its bye bye MTK.

I never watch wrestling and can't believe any sensible person does.
It's the same with the Rags.
Slightly less scripted but just as bent.
I saw a foreign clip about red cards and fights on u tube. Cavani got hold of an Everton player l think by the throat forced him backwards and threw him to the ground in a wrestling throw and then appealed to the ref who appeared to take no action.
Did l miss anything on the clip or on the media when it happened?

It was Mina who he grabbed by the throat.
Oddly enough Cavani was still awaiting the outcome of his "racism charge" at the time, but this didn't seem to "effect his game"

Thanks. Little wonder l missed it.
I can't see players from clubs other than those in red getting away with that or having such an easy ride from the media.
I reckon there was 'contact' ;)
