Corruption in English football?

And both players were sent off. Tueart for the head butt and Potter for the challenge that caused Tueart to react in that way.

My dad took me to the match. Dropped me off at home afterwards and went straight out in his taxi.

His first job was a call to Maine Road and it was the ref, going back to the station.

Did he charge him extra?

So its almost 10 years since the great premier league heist... I know most people are over it... Obviously I'm talking about lecisester.

It ruined football for me.. no matter how much I ignored it I just couldn't believe.... And the problem was it made no sense.. Accepting the tiniest bit of a fix just spiralled into a totally ridiculous seenario... How could they cheat THAT much and not get caught.. Or why would the other teams not just out them...?

It's nonsense because it makes no sense. For a while I thought... Well, maybe it was because VAR was coming in... The people in football who were fixing thought they'd make one last big payday before their dodginess got VARred out of existence... But that was too much of a stretch... plus having seen VAR it hasn't made a difference to that either....

When it came to that season, the fix obviously included players, refs and broadcasters... And that makes no sense? I could just never think of any reason that all these groups would collude on something so brazen...

Until... The premier league ended officially in 2021(?) with the super league announcement...?

Everything fell into place...

Football Leaks gave us preliminary contracts for the Super League as far back as 2017... Some of the papers already caught the club officials meeting with Super League people around that time too... But I never put 2+2 together until it actually happened and we woke up that day to the end of the PL and Sky's panic...

If you don't pay attention to the severeness of this situation... The death of english football.. The money being ripped right out... Then you won't respect the lengths that might be gone to to save it... That's why I want to bring this thread back now...

So we have leaks and info from 2017.. but when did this final and successful push for the super league actually begin...? Well.. it was clearly before the leicester heist...

1. Sometime around 2015 english football realises that it's about to end... The people inside know the Super League will happen soon...
2. Everyone shits their pants...
3. Players, agents, clubs, broadcasters... all realise their money is under big threat.. And not just their money... a 150 year legacy... But mostly their money..
4. What is the PL going to be like without the big 5 teams...? That's what their asking...
5. The big agencies are the power play... Key, Base, Stellar... They also have the most players who only make so much money because there are loads of better players playing higher up the division... All of their players are fully on board...
6. The shadowy figures who run football across the big clubs are given the memo... They'll take a dive for the season... The big club players know they'll be making super league money, so Mondial, Gestifute etc are also on board...
7. Almost all PL games can be decided by the players from these 5 or 6 big agencies/agents...
9. Leicester are picked.. They know how to do it as they were already on it at the end of 14/15 to stay up.. See the Huth/Bonar connection...
10. The operation is official... Bonar is ditched and Mapei, through Ranieri, enlisted.... (see Sassi (Chel)/Azzalin (Leic) and note Mourinho's illegal squad wide drug test after taking over from Ranieri...
11. Yes, this probably included a deliberate ousting of Pearson hence all the funny business and strange comments... Why? He (or anyone english) isn't credible to win the PL...
12. And it's done... the most memorable PL season of all time and Man u Man City Liverpool Arsenal and Chelsea are all irrelevant to the story...
13. A little unsure here.... Im thinking that the take overs of FIFA and UEFA might have brought more information to light, or given more power to our interests in stopping the super league, so that Leicester didn't need to be followed up on and normal service could resume....
14. Lineker presents MOTD in his pants, which he always knew he was going to do...
15. Declan Hill ensures us that it wasn't a fix..
16. The story is over...

Not sure about seasons outside of 15/16, but this one was thew wwe level of charade that people ask about.

Wondering if anyone else has the possible connection between the Super League and the possible fix that season...?

Was that the season Spurs finished third in a two-horse race? Just askin'.
And if you're looking for corruption how about Spurs being one of the teams in the Super League?
If you want real corruption stick to how Arsenal screwed Spurs and several other teams when getting into the old First Division.

Put the glue away it’s not doing you any favours.

Yes it was that season.
Not sure what you mean about the super league corruption, are you simply trying to attack my club? If so I don't care about that, I've pointed the finger plenty...

You have to winder what he git up to when he was the owner of Chelsea.

The PL fit and proper test my arse!

We know what he was up to as in paying hazard back handers to go to Chelsea and few other players to! All swept under the carpet after the Chelsea new owners admitted it!

Where is the referee looking when the ball is being kicked.

Looking at that from the linesman's view, Maguire is behind the red shirt on the far right of the pitch so his view is impeded. I can imagine why he didn't flag Maguire offside if he wasn't sure. Did the guy a yard offside get anywhere near the ball? If he did he should have been offside then for being active. If he didn't, then he wasn't committing an offside offence.

Don't blame the linesman or the referee for this, blame the active / not active rules that are written in a VAR environment and make this look ten times worse than it was. As long as the player in an offside position didn't become active, it's just a marginal decision.

If there was VAR, who knows if a defender's toenail was playing Maguire onside? Who knows if the presence of VAR for offsides makes linesmen lazy? How on earth would SAOT determine whose limbs are where when there are 16 players all within a two metre band of the pitch? Who knows if the active / non active rules make a linesman's job impossible?

And don't tell me it's about giving advantage to the attacker when Haaland gets wrestled to the ground ten times a game without punishment. Football is a simple game. Keep the fucking rules simple as well.

Rant over.
