(using average hotel stay as £40)

Perhaps a new job and moving to Manchester or London would be cheaper
OK add £350 to that figure as just treated wife to a flight down and 5 star accomodation at the Radisson Blue for QPR match and anniversary.
Flight £100 (arrive 8am) vs Megabus £21 (arrive 4pm) - what a fantastic husband I am.

Since my relocation to Abu Dhabi with work this has gone mad.

About £600 a match in total.There are now regulars who you see on the flights for the games.
no hotels sleep on the red eye flight home, works well haing Sat/Sun as weekend, dont want Sunday games, Mon is a disaster.
bloody good job, we are well paid and its tax free.
