Cost of living impact on football

To be fair some of the food from the independent traders is really good. Not that I eat at the stadium often. Panchos for example have had a stall in the arndale market for 10+ years and is run by a lovely Mexican bloke called Enrique. About as far from crap as you can get.

£4.50 a pint at City sq is cheaper than drinking in the NQ or Ancoats and walking up to the ground.
Enrique is my daughter's brother in law.
And you are correct,he is a great guy .

I cant say covid has saved me a lot of money as i bought a house in lockdown and got engaged + the ST went up in price + energy bills have went up. Saying that i WFH more and bought a Hybrid car to try and balance!.

I will def be using the ticket exchange a bit more to refund some tickets and flight prices and travel has increased. Although flybe not challenging easyjet on the route.

Otherwise, i spend little to nothing at the stadium or club shop and eat/drink elsewhere in Manchester to save.

Still p**ses me off they dont give a gift with the ST.

Be interested to see if City notice any trends with ticket sales, kit sales, hospitality etc and respond accordingly.

Looks like the community shield was a struggle to sell out..
