Cost of living impact on football

I bet you were stood waiting for it for ages.
As far as I remember,it always went from Aytoun Street, more or less opposite The Grand Hotel.
We had a big punch up with some rag bastards in the early 70s, and I always remember a red snooker ball being thrown at the rags, and it missed them and bounced off the stone wall of The Grand and then carried on down Aytoun Street.
I might be getting mixed up with t'other 'un - there was a 75, and where did the 77 go?

Since they got rid of meat and potato pies I’ve stopped buying anything except chips and water. Might cut them out but I’m supposed to eat regularly and always have water handy!! Decisions, decisions!!
I always used to buy the chips. Fancied a change one day and went for the cheese and onion pie, have never had chips since.

I've got no season ticket, if I buy a membership for a family of 4, the likelihood is we can't sit together in family stand and have to fork out over £100 in just memberships. That irks me more than any individual ticket prices or season ticket cost. Expensive paid Memberships should not exist for people with a Manchester post code.
That will annoy most City supporters, who, as everyone knows, largely come from Stockport.

100 quid a pop for me coming up for Oxford. Fuel and ticket. Stay over and add another 50. Looking to move back north in 24 so will be putting my name down for a season ticket.

The cost of living is a shock to the system, it will obviously curtail some income for football at all levels, but eventually it will all calm down again, and reach a settled state. Better for City than Stockport, for example

There's no season ticket waiting list to put your name on mukka. CTID
