It seems strange getting a no 2 the same age as Hart. Any decent young goalkeeper will want to be getting experience of playing to develop at that age. I presume if he was no 2 the only game time apart from any injury to Hart would be the Carling Cup? Maybe he should loan him out with recall to see how in performs and let an experienced keeper who is happy to sit on the bench deputise for regular games.

What a terrible idea.
We buy an international keeper as we don't rate our No2 (Taylor) and then loan him?
He should be here getting a feel of playing with our lads, learning our formations and receiving coaching from our specialist coach.
He will get CC and maybe more starts with us and also with Romania and be paid a relative fortune for doing so and while I'm happy with Joe a bit of competition won't do any harm in keeping him up to the mark.
