He worries me.

I wish him all the best but he really worries me.

did he worry you today Davs ??

A couple of decent saves but what worries me most is the fact that he punches every cross and not particularly well. He did however worry me a lot less today than on his previous appearances. I genuinely want the lad to do well , but if I ask myself the question, 'who do I want in goal in a big game'.....the answer is still Hart

Great game from him today i have waited a long time for him to be our first choice and its finally happened, i always knew this was coming & there is no looking back from this point. We have a new number 1!

-- Sun Dec 01, 2013 10:23 pm --

His kicking was a bit suspect but no worse than Harts is.

Two good saves though.

Hart will play in Munich and will be busy! That's the game to judge if he is ready to come back

In my opinion his kicking was exceptional today! He kicked 1 off the pitch after he received 4 back passes in quick succession!

Sit in 137 so see the keepers close up love Costel he looks like he's just got out of bed, totally relaxed unlike hart kicking the post every time he cocks up. Distribution is better but also prone to 'WTF' moments eg today's punch when there wasn't a player near him and easy catch. Like everyone says, difficult to drop when keeping clean sheets. Away tests to come, but as I say to my junior team, if the keepers are busy, the defence aren't doing their jobs

Had a good game today considering he as not played all that much over the last two seasons, did what was asked of him and did it well, i think Hart will just have to be patient and wait his turn just like Pantilimon as had to do, all in all i think Pantilimon is a good goalkeeper and today he showed it

IMO he is playing very well and now it's his spot to lose. I personally feel better with him between the posts then Hart even though I love Hart. I wouldn't take Panti off until he makes bad mistakes or loses form.

Was class today. Full of confidence. Save and clean sheet percentage is very good for City. Shouldn't be dropped until he deserves to be, which isn't right now

Costel played well yesterday and has done nothing wrong since taking over from Hart.

But I think that when next season kicks off our first choice gk will be someone who has played over 100 games in one of the major leagues. It may or may not be Hart but I think its very unlikely to be Costel. I still think the club see him as a capable back up rather than someone who is playing to make the number one spot his own. They're ok playing him until Hart re-gains his 2011/12 form, or until we buy a replacement, but that's all. Perhaps unfair on Costel but it reflects the reality of being a back up keeper.
