He doesn't inspire any confidence in me but that doesn't matter, he's doing ok at the minute. He's very flappy and he very rarely takes a long shot cleanly, he's done nothing to warrant dropping yet though.

However, he flapped at a couple of things yesterday and if Joe had done the same he'd have been slated and told to concentrate on practicing his catching not doing adverts. I just hope Costel hasn't got a pantene ad lined up or he's going to get slagged off big time.

I think so far he's acquitted himself very well. There's a hell of a lot of pressure and a lot of eyes on him because of the fact he's taken Joe's place. He seems calm and unflappable and on performances so far deserves to keep his place as first choice keeper.

But he's much more cool and composed than Joe. His distribution is light years ahead of Joe's, has the confidence to play it short from the back, and made a very good save from Adebayor.
That said, if Joe doesn't return to his usual self, then neither are good enough long term. Should that happen then I'd like to see us go for a top draw keeper in the summer.
We can't afford to mess about in a key position, no room for sentimentality either. If Joe doesn't get his act together, we should bring in a new keeper.
