What's happened to the "integrity of the game" we heard so much about when the scouse ****s were desperate to re-start the league?
Tbh it's become something of an annual tradition for the losers to declare it a meaningless friendly and the winners to regard it as a domestic title.
Haha, simple - no money to be made from the charity shield. Can you imagine if we even dared to play a couple of youth players in it we'd be disrespecting the game/ruining football. Ifwecouldjust turn down the chance to play now well get more shit than Liverpool who should actually be playing in it.What's happened to the "integrity of the game" we heard so much about when the scouse ****s were desperate to re-start the league?

Interesting to hear that Klopp treats it as a major final. Funny all the dippers saying it was a meaningless friendly when they lost in it to us
I was at the 1972 CS match vs Aston Villa at Villa Park.
I cannot remember the final score but I can remember it was pandemonium outside after the game finished. Skirmishes and running battle everywhere.
