A lot of these games have been a walk in the park to be honest. The only tough games we had were Chelsea and Bournemouth. How will that have any bearing after this intense period of games with hardly a break before going into potentially a 60 game season?
You can certainly say the semi final against Arsenal was much less intense. I'm still seething that no-one turned up.A lot of these games have been a walk in the park to be honest. The only tough games we had were Chelsea and Bournemouth.
Hasn't there been less distance covered than usual? Fewer sprints, more passes, fewer tackles?
The games have definitely seemed much less intense.
And we’ve rotated a huge amount n’all.
Good start to next seasons Rags Dippers rivalry unfortunately Klipperty refusing to play in a charity game falls well short of demanding appearance money to play in a memorial match. Game on come on you mercenaries can’t wait for the season to commenceFor all the moaning about City, City’s owner and City’s money... yet the cultists only want to play in competitions that earn them the most money?
All about the money and not actually about winning trophies.
If we get to the final of the CL I think we’ll be in the best shape of anyone (apart from maybe United and Wolves if they get to the EL final), ready to start the season. You can certainly say the semi final against Arsenal was much less intense. I'm still seething that no-one turned up.
The fact is the squad is training and playing games and if we beat RM then we are in the CL mini tournament. There will be hardly any time before next season starts and we will be at a disadvantage right from the off.
