Could we become the biggest club in the world?

To be a big club we have to

Play in CL
Win the league
Retain the league
Win the CL
Win the treble

The goal posts always move and will continue to do so.

Whether we’re a big club or not we have our unique achievements.

We’ve done 100 points in the season
The domestic quad

This season going for

Holding all possible trophies at the same time
4 in a row in PL
First PL team to retain a CL

Whether that would makes us the biggest or a small club that cheats, this will always be determined by who the fans support.

But I’m a City fan and remember many bleak points, if I was ever offered then for us to be the biggest and the best, the only part of that sentence I’d have been bothered about was the best. Never felt any jealousy towards the big clubs for their size etc. but would have loved it if we won trophies like them.

Who cares if we’re big, cause we’re the best!!
 
It depends. We are the linchpin of the CFG. Looking at the bigger picture the 'boss' would like all the clubs in the CFG to be like us. That is, ultimately, their aim. Then we, the CFG, would be the greatest in all the world.

I fully expect both FIFA and UEFA to have something to say before that happens; indeed I am surprised nothing has been said or done already. Imagine the FIFA World Clubs Cup being contested by just CFG clubs?

It’s not your opinion. It’s an absolute fact that City , at the moment, are the best football team in the World. No question.

It might upset a few but it’s also a fact City are not the biggest club in their City never mind the World!

It will take years , decades of continued success to become the biggest in the World.

For me the big test comes when Peps decides to move on. It’s imperative that City get his replacement right. You only have to look at United to see what an utter clusterfuck you can make of it but get it right and you could have many more years like the last decade or so and then , through time, City will grow and hopefully leave the rest behind

Will it be built somewhere with car parks that don't all exit onto the same main road and within easy access of at least two tram lines with lots of trams rather than the current set up?
Oh, and can we make it out of invisible materials so the council don't know it's there and ban on-street parking with 5 miles?

We are the biggest club in our City because we really are the only club that plays in the top flight in our city.

It's also a myth that it takes decades it quite simply doesn't, news travels fast these days and boy is it travelling fast, another CL win and we'll be top of the world, not that it matters.
