Could you go a month without alchohol?

Sod that!

No chance in hell that I'd last a month without a cuppa. One of the best things about going abroad is coming back to your kettle at home and getting to brew your first cup of tea.

Alcohol - Yes
Tea - No chance
Couldn't agree more.

A brew solves ((almost) everything :-)

Never drink at home, just occasionally down the pub or club so haven't missed it during covid, can take it or leave it.
Very similar to me, in fact thinking about it I went from the start of the March lockdown last year until Christmas without a drop of alcohol. In more normal times other than away trips I don't drink significant amounts and haven't done for 20 years or so.

Agree with others about tea, if I didn't have at least three cups a day I'd struggle to function!

I had no plan either and have drank once since New years day. Not missed it but all that you lose weight and stuff is bullshit. Mind you I reckon I have eaten more chocolate in the past 3,4 months than in the whole of my previous 45yrs on earth.
I’ve lost around 2.5 stone but I’ve been cycling regularly so it’s not just the lack of alcohol

I'm the same wasn't planned but jesus weight fell off me, think the problem was if I drank invariably I'd eat shit as well. So the loss of the two made a big difference.

Ive got out of date bottled beer that I was given as a christmas present 3 years ago in the cupboard, so yes. Tea and cherry coke though, not a chance.

Once I drink alcohol I don't eat. I have never been one to go for a kebab or chippy after a night out.
It's the other way around for me and once I've had a session I get a lob on for ice cream, chocolate and cake. Not proper food just utter crap and the other week I did in two boxes of Aldi nut cornetoes and still staggered back for more.

Yes, I did a 45 day challenge at the gym which included 45 days of drinking nothing but water. It was easily manageable although the caveat was it was during lockdown. It would be a lot more difficult now with the sunshine and atmosphere around town.
Did you manage to lose weight out of interest?

My hubby hasn't drank any alcohol since New Year's Eve. He also has stopped drinking coke, which he used to have with most meals. Drinks nothing but water. He's lost 30lbs.
