I had no plan either and have drank once since New years day. Not missed it but all that you lose weight and stuff is bullshit. Mind you I reckon I have eaten more chocolate in the past 3,4 months than in the whole of my previous 45yrs on earth.It wasn’t planned but I’ve not had a single alcoholic drink this year... I don’t miss it

I am about to start (on Monday) a new job in a kids home. 7 days on and 7 off (sleeping on site too) so as of Monday for the first time in over 2 years it will be not only one night alcohol free - but 7!
