Court case from derby

Okay, tbf I thought he was a smackhead when I first saw the pictures and the story seems to back it up. I just don't have any time for them full stop, utd, city, whatever team they support.
Most stewards now are cocks and I include united ones in that, glorified bullies most of them.

He lives near my mum, I think he's an ex smack head.

I agree, our stewards are bullies as well

Still in our end for the derby mate?

No, gave them to a mate who is a blue. Wouldn't be worth the hassle, I couldn't sit on my hands for 90 mins and I'd end up brawling, getting a smack and being chucked out after 5 mins.
Ones for the united end are like unicorn shit so it looks like a typical rag evening in the pub :)

Giving as good as he got! Have you seen the size of him!
Just because he'd a drink doesn't give those two the right to throw him down the stairs. There are plenty of drunk people at every game and stewards are trained to deal with them - i doubt that pushing them downstairs is one of the options that is suggested to deal with such people.

If he fell that is entirely his own fault I agree. But the fact that the CPS has taken this case on suggests that the CCTV footage will show him being pushed. Had it been the word of a drug addict against two trained stewards I doubt they would have even opened the case file. As it is I'd say there is footage that proves beyond any doubt that the steward(s) are entirely to blame for his injuries.

No doubt the CCTV will make its way onto here at some point in the future.

I agree with you - the cctv will reveal all. I didnt mean giving as good as he got sorry - but sometimes people are giving it the bigun where the police/stewards or whoever cannot give it back until they have to. Maybe he was giving it out and what they used was "reasonable force". If they were escorting him out of the ground and he tried to get back in, whilst on the stairs then there would have been a scuffle and he came out worse. We'll see. To break two legs is harsh without a doubt, but if its his own fault then well what can you say.

Lets see what he does with any compo he might get.

Why should we see? If he wins compensation then the money is his to do with as he likes. It was he that went through the pain and heart ache of the leg breaks. It was he who had to spend three weeks in hospital then a couple of months of painful physiotherapy.

Who the hell are you to sit and judge and decide that he should give it to charity. I certainly fucking wouldn't.

Comfy is it? That pedestal of yours.

Putting the case to one side for a moment, it amazes me how people on benefits can afford tattoos, a £50 replica shirt and not only the cost of one derby game ticket but two! Apparantly he is an away game regular too! No doubt a s/c holder as well?

I know of plenty of working men who can't afford more than one or two home games a season let alone home and away!

Ok - back to original point of thread now ;-)

Fully agree - maybe start a thread on off topic about it. Should be fun.

Not even gonna bother, never got it right once.
Thought we were going to smash you to pieces in the munchen game and look what happened there. Thought we were going to lose them all last season and fortunately it was only one.
A lot will depend on Nani and Fletcher being fit and Tevez for you.
You just never know what will happen, either way its a game both teams need to win.

Fair does.

Tevez will play, no doubt about that imo.

I'll go for 2-1 City, we owe you one ;)

Therefore you agree he's doing it primarily for the compo. If he can get to all these away games he can work surely. Plus he is getting too much anyway.

Controversial or what. Differnet questions. If you were in a jury what would you do. If you were in a dark room with the stewards alone what would you do. We're all different. If the victim is an ex-smack head, what do you do. Just let the courts decide.

One week until Derby day. Who needs this shite?
