I am very sorry to hear that, mate. You now know another official covid 19, confirmed today, three other family members untested and presumed as having it, met friends two weeks ago in pub scenario and her work has confirmed two cases and 25 in self isolation. Been feeling usual shite this time of year and no where near feeling well but apparently I’m ok to go to work, even though I’m not.
Great post fellaI am not sure it will have initially lifted spirts, but I do think it is helpful to create a sense of unified action that requires shared sacrifice and perseverance.
It gives everyone a collective purpose and drive to overcome diversity through collaboration and compassion.
Doing that can be incredibly positive to the general mindset of each person trying to cope with what is happening now and what is to come.
In a sense, many of us get that off here — even though we disagree on many things, the vast majority of us keep coming on because we care about everyone on BM and the discussion helps us feel part of a greater collective responding to the crisis.
As many have said, no matter what, we are in this together and I for one will do anything within my means to support others battling through this, in-person or virtually.
That’s really shit luck.75% of our workforce been sent home today with no pay for 3 months minimum. I’m one of the lucky ones, what a shit day
Asthmatic diabetes high blood pressure and a smoker, 52 years old, had phlegm on draught and a cough which is comical, when I get going people are stunned, lying on my stomach helps beyond belief, spent best part of 2 months in turmoil, but I struggle every year and it’s a level above, two kids had a cold for a day,I am very sorry to hear that, mate.
It sounds as though you are not experiencing serious symptoms just yet, which is a positive.
How you holding up generally?
how can you even be sent home unpaid? Where does SSP fall into this?
Ha, so perhaps I was well off with my assessment. :-)Asthmatic diabetes high blood pressure and a smoker, 52 years old, had phlegm on draught and a cough which is comical, when I get going people are stunned, lying on my stomach helps beyond belief, spent best part of 2 months in turmoil, but I struggle every year and it’s a level above, two kids had a cold for a day,
