I live in Ireland, Where I work we are not doing it week by week and see what happens, It's horrible. Luckily enough the work is still coming but slowing down vastly plus my fellow workers dont feel safe going onto sites surrounded by people which is easy to see why. If I'm out of work I get €203 a week off the government for 6 weeks which will see me lose my home with my missus and two kids my mind in overdrive everyday. Hope your job still going mate.
Chin up mate, there's going to be a lot of things put in place for this, there already is plus it takes 8 years before you can be evicted if it was a case of losing a house , I'm sure youll be back in work in the meantime, I know ppl in morgatge section of banking and while it's not a nice thing to be hanging over you they will be taking all this situation into account, a lot of people will be in the same boat

it does chuck it back iin your face a little with the northern Italy diet, is it the Mediterranean diet?, fish oils olive's etc very healthy but not done them any favors
The italy death thing thing is very much age related I'm afraid. Care homes are like killing fields and the traditional Italian greeting breaths virus all over your friends face and has spread the virus at breakneck pace through the population. Also the isolation of Lombardy for a week was totally ineffective.

It's dreadful and so fecking sad. My thoughts and prayers are with them every day.

Ideally. Not at work. And at home.
Thanks. Unfortunately we are not in an ideal world at the moment. So I have to go to work, as most do. Not for financial gain in my case, I could walk away tomorrow.
But that's not the point, I want to go to work, and I rely on hotels to enable me to do so. Why would you advocate the shutting of hotels? Trust me it's a pretty bleak existence at the best of times.

As someone mentioned Hospital beds and space are running out already.
Closing Hotels and using them as hospitals would ease the burden.

The thing is with my place is that it's a family run business theres only 18 people in the entire company, If it goes I dont think it will be back anytime soon unfortunately.

Good to know, thank you. Just wish we could actually buy some of those items!
The green grocers still have fruit and veg,any type of multivitam in any guise will help, have a look in your local chemist, people have gone for the obvious vit c and borroca type ones but there are plenty in different guises, even ones for kids will do

Anyone know if China has taken any measures to prevent something like this again, ie: banning those animal markets ?
Theyve banned them but the whole fecking process of animal husbandry and slaughter in China needs changing. It's a viral cross species jump disaster area just waiting to happen.
Waiting?
What the fuck am I talking about, It happens regularly Brid flue, Swine flu, SARS, etc.

So I’m guessing the pubs are packed tonight? I fucking despair. No-one loves the pub more than me (miles better than drinking at home) but the last time I was in one was the day of the Old Trafford derby 2 weekends ago. Seriously, if I can stay out of the pub, anyone can.

Worse still, the other half’s parents arrived home from Australia this morning. Her dad is 70 today and was gutted that he couldn’t go out tonight - she told them they’d have to effectively self isolate for now partly because of their age and partly because they’d arrived home from another country - so she got her dad a crate of John Smiths amongst other things for his birthday to part make up for not being able to go out to celebrate. Anyway, a couple of hours ago she got a phone call off her daughter. She’d gone round to her grandparents after finishing work to drop some things off. Guess what? There was no-one in and they weren’t answering their mobiles. No fucking prizes for guessing where they are.
