Flights still arriving and leaving now I imagine aren't full of tourists but people being repatriated.

And cargo, of which we need a lot in the UK, planes don't just fly passengers, they bring all sorts, including the stuff the NHS need to help fight this.

Interestingly, and as complete aside to this thread, I watched a flight today by an exec jet from Constellation Aviation (Dubai based) take off from Farnborough, I thought I'd watch where it went, it recently landed in Abu Dhabi. Farnborough is sometime used for VIP's, wonder who it was, and what they were doing here, as the UAE are only allowing in their own citizens now.

CBA reading through all of the posts since today's figures came out but didn't they say that as from today they were going to include those cases.where the death had occurred outside hospitals. If so that could explain the jump in the figures today.

Tbf I don’t think the recoveries statistic has been updated on the UK page for over a week. Not sure why.

I think you're right it's not being updated, or nobody is recovering, but do we know what "recovered" actually is ?

Not seen any UK figures, When Scotland publish their daily figures they give the number in ICU, Today 135, think before this there were 180 beds. Apparently they have doubled that and aim to quadruple to over 700 in hospitals plus talking about adding 300 in a field hospital but with a capacity for up to 1000.
Not sure how many ventilators are available for those beds though ,or CPAP machines, but hopefully they are starting to arrive in the next week or so.

Wouldn't be to keen in the 1 in Czech Republic.(I think its there)..converting a brothel into wards survive the virus come out with the clap..

Qatar’s numbers are a little concerning in terms of new cases.

Last few days (new daily cases not total)

11, 13, 23, 43, 88

I don’t like how that graph is going.
