It does make you think. I went to Malaga for a couple of days end of January. In the airport coming back I ended up sat right in the middle of a couple of hundred Italians about to board a flight. Anyway when I got back my eldest had a bit of a cold and I was driving him round.

Last week I start with a few sneezes, felt fucked, sore throat, tight chest, rough as a bears arse. When I remembered all the Italians at Malaga airport I shit myself and did the NHS 111 online which concluded that I would indeed not be currently suffering from Coronavirus. I am actually feeling a lot better today.

Am I 100% sure it wasnt the Coronavirus, no. It probably was a cold from my youngest. That said there are those who reckon there is more of it about than we know probably because of the mild symptoms that it seems many have, hence even now many will probably brush it off as a cold and carry on as normal despite the coverage and advice being given.

did you enjoy Malaga, a great under rated city.

People like you and me can't afford to get ill,it was probably a tad reckless to go to wembley but i wasn't going to miss it,i think the spread will hit the 80% that is forecasted because as you say people will just think it's a cold and brush it off

First time I had been mate. I stayed airbnb in a non tourist area and basically wandered around the place for a couple of day. I totally agree with you about it. Great place nice friendly locals I will be going back again. They actually laugh at all the English going to Torremolinos and not bothering with Malaga itself.

I personally wouldnt touch Torremolinos with a shitty stick but Malaga was lovely. Lots of Brazilians, Argentines, as well as Spanish there. All very nice people.

DEADLY coronavirus will kill a number of Brits as the spread of the virus gathers pace, the chief medical officer has warned.

England and Wales' Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty today said the UK will experience a "significant epidemic" of coronavirus cases and "some deaths"

He said a "sensible" forecast for the NHS and businesses to plan towards is up to 20 per cent of Britain's work force being sick at one time.

Two new cases in the Grampian and Ayrshire areas of Scotland have brought the total number of confirmed cases in the UK to 53, with a peak expected in 'months rather than weeks'.

Professor Whitty said this morning: "It's much more likely than not that we're going to deal with a significant epidemic.

"It is almost certain there will be more cases, probably a lot of cases, and we would expect some deaths.

"It's when it's going from person to person to person and then we pick it up - that's what we mean by community transmission.

"It is likely that will be happening, if not now, but soon. I think it's likely to be happening at the moment, not definite

The health chief added commuters and shoppers wearing face masks will have 'little effect' on stopping the spread of the virus.

The World Health Organisation has advised healthy people should only wear a mask if they are taking care of someone suspected to have the virus.

People who have been diagnosed with coronavirus or who are ill after returning from an affected area are advised not be out in public - with or without a mask.

NHS North Cumbria today confirmed a hospital worker - believed to be in her 30s - and her boyfriend contracted the virus during a trip to northern Italy.

The staff member has not had any contact with patients since her return to the UK.

Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester also revealed a patient has tested positive for the virus.

Kingston Academy in Surrey became the latest school to confirm a pupil has been diagnosed with coronavirus after recently returning from an affected area overseas.

Accountancy giant Deloitte closed part of its offices in Holborn, London, today after a member of staff tested positive following a holiday in Asia.

The Queen did not wear gloves as she carried out her duties at Buckingham Palace today, after covering her hands for the first time while handing out gongs yesterday.

The Monarch shook hands as she met the President of Malta George Vella and his wife Miriam in the palace's 1844 room.

I must admit I am thinking twice about where I go and what I do...My lady is more in the at risk category than I am, hence I panicked a little when I remembered all the Italian folk I had been sat in the midst of.

We are supposed to be off to the Balkans for a couple in the middle of April. If neither of us gets it before then and its looking safer there than here at that time I think we will stop there all May as I had another week in Zadar for the first week of June. Cheap Airbnb somewhere of the beaten track for a few weeks.

I dont think many realise that some of us will gradually become in effect imprisoned due to the danger of getting it. You will be gambling with your life simply going to the shop. They reckon it will peak in May here so I am thinking if we do get to April and sod off it would be stupid to jump on a plane back into the midst of it.
