It was a doctor the surgery withdrew it immediately and the doctor criticised , it was never anyones policy. No hospital is refusing treatment to anyone that they think can be saved, to say they are is an insult to all the medical professionals doing their very best. As long as they have the equipment they will use it. Do you honestly think there is a doctor in this country that will have an empty bed with a ventilator when an elderly patient comes in and say nah too old lets not bother trying.

I no I said that but some mp,said it and it was scratched before everyone seen it but some did

Not now,the BMA has said if we get overun then people will get them based on predicted outcomes, this is the public seeing the reality of difficult decisions laid bare, what is being seen and heard is going to stick with people for a long long time

Well it's been said, that a certain age group won't be treated/ respirator even won't be taken to hospitals
No help for care homes, and they haven't been classing there deaths as there not in hospital,if out off say 700 deaths 500 were oaps every day I would be very concerned worked all there lives and get fked off ,yet some fking slag 6kids to 6 different guys never worked gets looked after.
It's worth knowing that most of these decisions would be made Covid or not; it's entirely normal practice for doctors to make decisions with patients and their family regarding ceilings of care.

These aren't new practices being implemented because of Covid, they're just being highlighted and misinterpreted by some.

Also worth saying this isn't exactly true. If there is a free ICU bed & ventilator, it won't automatically be an option for every patient - the decisions will be made between the medical team and the patient/family (medical team have the overruling decision).

Will be extended , my guess would be early this week, they won’t want people thinking it finishes next weekend and starting to make plans. Probably another 3 weeks, then reviewed again.
They will be waiting for Boris to be better to make that particular announcement.
