I was out this morning for my daily excercise, walking the dogs, at 7 30am. On the old railway lines where I live it is usually dead at this time on a Sunday, but now you do well to avoid the joggers, cyclists and horse riders. Anyway this morning a group of 6 came running down the lines and 1 of them was my sister in laws ex so I stopped them and asked what they thought they were doing. He said that they were due to compete in a national cross country competition on the 3rd May. I then said that there was no way this would be going ahead and he responded by saying it had not officially cancelled so they were still training. Unbelievable!!!!!!!

I miss wearing flip flops. Used to wear nothing but when living in Thailand (apart from when teaching)

edit: I meant as footwear. I wore clothes as well of course
