Not just Leeds hospitals (mentioned above) reaching the peak as posted earlier.

As I noted last night - barring an unexpected down turn it looks certain that over the next few days there will be more in North West hospitals than at the peak. Indeed some local hospitals in the NW were reportedly close to thi a week ago. Three in Greater Manchester the report said

As of yesterday there were 2407 in hospital in the NW with Covid (no data today given) and that is just 483 below the peak at the maximum of the first wave on 13 April.

That number has been added onto the total over the past 5 or 6 days. So unless the numbers fall we will be above the first wave peak by this time next week too.

The bloke chin wearing his mask ffs... it's not eat out to help out that's ravaged the 3 streets, it's that the community hasn't given a f***

My wife went to Bradford last week before we went to T3. She said pubs had groups of 8-10 lads in them. No wonder the area is suffering.

As my report earlier showed Bradford right now is getting it very badly. 951 cases in the city in the last 48 hours.

Must be so stressful for people there.

More than Manchester or Liverpool or Birmingham in the same period.

It is probably the worst impacted place in England at the moment.

Bottom line is, if people UNIVERSALLY wear face masks, wash their hands meticulously and keep a sensible distance - as they do in Asian countries - then we would not be seeing the rise in cases and deaths that we are seeing.
Face masks have been compulsory in France for about 6 weeks, their cases number is worse than ours by quite a way in recent days, so why is it not working there ?

Not being argumentative just wondering why it works there not here ?

Watched an episode of "Police Interceptors" last night, much of it from Bradford, I'm not in the least bit surprised, it's full of idiots that don't give a fuck about anyone other than themselves, there will be many places like this in the UK, and why it's an uphill fight to control.

is working from home affecting anyone yet? I know I am lucky that I am able to and have a job, but I’ve done bugger all this week. My motivation is at an all time low

Wtf is wrong with people. BBC reporting Scottish police breaking up over 100 House parties/week.

I'm sure house parties are going on throughout the UK, and will increase as we approach Christmas.

People happy to blame the Government, but they cannot be accountable for idiots deliberately setting out to be non compliant.

We are responsible for what type of Christmas we face by the actions taken now. Sadly, the fuckwwits are determined they fuck it up for us all.

If it does come to that, there is only the non complying public to blame. No doubt, they will be the most angered too.

Small consolation at least.

I hate Xmas and all the nicey nicey false bullshit that everyone spews copiously at that time of the year so. Its dark cold and the weather is shit so if we do have to endure a lockdown once again then I sincerely hope it is at Xmas and not when we start getting some daylight again in the new year.

It's the honest families who will suffer the most.

Yes big style. Working from home is not all it's cracked up to be.
I'm a gynecologist, and the wife is getting suspicious with all the extra hours i'm putting in...

Mrs Moon & me actually had a dummy run for you all last year...due to various things happening we ended up planning and spending Xmas at home without our family...was just the way it fell and to be honest it was pretty good just the two of us, living alone however, could be a different thing.
