He didn't, he was in ICU, but his 2 kids showed signs having it but weren't tested, the suggestion is he caught it from his asymptomatic wife who worked in a busy shop near an airport.

If there's 100 people in the room and 1 person is infected, then you don't get double the viral load if there are 2 infected people in the room. You just have double the chance of chatting with 1 of them.

And apart from anything else, there's debate about whether viral load is even a factor.

So you accept the probability of catching it is proportionately higher. That would have been quicker.

How can we going forward embed our learning to help empower and allow communities to thrive across all communities and address inequalities ? Nobody has been safe from the virus,we have learnt a lot,the gov are seeking to address inequality,praise for key workers

Track and trace,will it work worldwide once travel resumes ? Ours specific to our country and standards

More deaths than anyone else in Europe ? Comparisons difficult,counting deaths in all settings (so are italy and france)not accepting we are the worst ,higher than we would wish

Masks ? SAGE advice is finely balanced on it,do not want to stop masks going to frontline workers

Once track and track is up and running would deaths come down ? Social distancing has been key measures till now and will continue,track and trace allows us to move into next phase and get on top of a new outbreaks

Cannot move to relax restrictions too soon or risk new peak

Cumulative deaths will not come down but it will flatten

Schools ? Still uncertain on how many kids would catch it and have symptoms or not
Would need close monitoring,watching other countries opening schools closely,wouldn't be able to open all schools without a peak,SAGE giving options

Risk factors,obesity risk in particular ? Yes it is a risk,it is better not to be obese at any time

Premier league return ? Would lift the spirits of the nation,gov have been discussing with sports bodies but following the science,would be behind closed doors for all sports to begin with ,seeing if it can be done safely

Viral load is a big factor for staff treating patients,they are exposed to massive viral loads

I understand from previous posts that a few on here, Karen7 being one I have seen that some believe they could have caught it from the trip to Wembley and that was the 1st March

I came back from the Madrid game on the 28th Feb, the game was the 26th Feb and from then I had a cough like I have never had before for a good three weeks. I also had a few night sweats where I was drenched and had to get up and have a shower. A few loose shits but no other symptoms.

At the time I put this down to excess of Madrid and the games afterwards as I went to Wembley and i also went to the Derby game and we make occasions of them. The virus was then starting to et headlines but we will never know

Maybe I am clinging

Because my normal life is being in isolation anyway I know I got it from wembley weekend also the villa fan who was ill when he went to wembley ended up in intensive care afterwards,it was definitely around at least mid to late february
