More likely we are all going into tier 4...
Given we still don't know if vaccinations stop you spreading would be a waste to vaccinate the least at risk group. The government has so far been reluctant to close schools, with leaders saying it is a "national priority" to keep children in education.
But with cases remaining high among school-age children, questions are being asked about whether schools could move to remote learning.
"There's no plans for schools to close and it's rightly been a national priority for all pupils to return to school full time," the prime minister's spokesperson said.
Asked about whether school children could be prioritised for vaccinations, he said: "We've always said that we will prioritise those with the most clinical need and that remains the case."
fucking mad
Obviously one death is one too many but isn’t that reasonably good at this stage?215 all settings deaths
Yes, but Monday is always low as it is Sunday data. Fewer registrations. It will rise a lot over next 3 days.Obviously one death is one too many but isn’t that reasonably good at this stage?
Enjoy Xmas because the New Year looks like its gonna be bleak.

Not only that - when we tell them that they’re talking bollocks, many of them call us sheep and assume we think the sun shines out of the government’s arse because we dare to believe that Covid is real. Errrrr no - it’s entirely possible to be critical of the government’s handling of the pandemic while also acknowledging the existence of the virus you stupid twats.I cant believe the number of people who think this is all bullshit and led by the governments.
Our Government struggles to hold a press conference at the right time.
I've been doing ours on a Monday since March (a smallish Waitrose), and whilst it was much busier today than virtually every Monday since then, there were hardly any shortages of stuff, and it was still resonable, though there was a short queue to get in, and there seemed a few more gormless wandering about (usually on their phone - it's little wonder we can't use them when driving, half the folk can't walk).so Supermarkets are happy for shelves to be cleared and panic buying to happen, all this time and no lessons learnt.
It has not been tested in kids , he should know that much at leastGiven we still don't know if vaccinations stop you spreading would be a waste to vaccinate the least at risk group.
At least this time there is no panic buying. I fully expected an empty tesco this morning but only thing missing was the cheap toilet roll.
The rugby scrum at St. Pancras last night was a sight to behold. No fuckin' wonder London has gone into Tier 4 if those individuals packing out the concourses are anything to go by.
