Good news that London may have totally eradicated the virus within the next couple of weeks, considering where it was that is fantastic. North East now the epicentre, hopefully it will prove to be a few weeks behind where London was and be in the same place in the next few weeks.

Just read a report that the rate of infection down to .4 in London. That the number of new cases is around 24 per day.

This is excellent news. The NE is now the hot spot.

That is good news, North West is still relatively quite high I believe that's why I am not relaxing my personal distancing measures.

Since the new measures have come in, i have to say people have been brilliant. In fact it's as thought people are being more careful.
I fully expected all the knobheads to come out in force, and for people to think it is all over.
I've noticed less people speeding on the roads. Customers really respecting and understanding the distancing rules.
I suppose there will still be some disobeying the new rules, but i'm happy most seem to be so far.

The only negative was a slightly lower turn out for the clap for carers yesterday...

It’s OK having an antibody test but we still don’t know if it actually works giving it to humans. Rhesus monkey test sounds very positive but it will take a long while yet to see if it works on us.

This is starting to wear me down. Coming up to 9 weeks and only been out to exercise. I used to keep busy during the week volunteering so staying at home is really hard. To me there doesn’t appear to be any light at the end of the tunnel. There is a kind of a timetable for things happening on 1 June and 1 July but nothing for bringing people like me (70+) out of lockdown. Can’t see our children or grandchildren except on video but footballers can go back!!

Again, pretty sure it’s down to certain hotspots, think Salford and Oldham were highlighted as being the 2 worst in a couple of articles I’ve read at some point.

I am Cheshire West, we seem to be in the middle of the league. I am lucky in so much as I had a knee op last one in Leighton before they stopped elective surgery so I am still off sick for a couple of weeks.

Bloody hell, my mum is in a care home in Salford and I live in Oldham :-(
