Because nobody else aside from trump is saying it will just disappear before a vaccine is found,it will spike again in the winter,it is not going away,it will be less in the summer but come flu season time it will cause havoc,there is no point believing something all the eminent scientists in the world aren't saying just because you want something positive to listen to

The absolute cheek of Williamson to intimate that the wellbeing of children is driving the government push for schools to returns. I'm pretty sure that's the main concern for the vast majority of head teachers and teaching staff. Understandably they are also concerned about their own safety.

Wish they had shown a similar concern for those vulnerable people within Care Homes.
I still dont know how they managed to see the need to close hotels but did nothing special for care homes which are effectively hotels for the elderly and vulnerable.

It is right they should be concerned not only for children but also for workers who teach and service schools. Lets hope there is risk management action to match their concern should it transpire.
